Let me first off say that I'm totally new working with DAWS and Mulab, so if you reply keep it easy for a newbie to understand. And, I am using the free version still of Mulab 7 until I get a good grip on how to totally use it I'm not buying the key code unless I have to in order to get things to work that is the subject of my post here for help... So, I just bought my first midi keyboard controller to use (Samson graphite 49) and it came included with Native Instruments Komplete Elements package. Here is my problem - when I open Mulab and try to add the NI elements stuff to mulab by clicking add new svt, and letting Mulab do a search for NI elements it can't find it...now I'm not even totally sure if the NI elements package is considered a svt...but that's what I'm assuming it kinda is? So I need somebody to help me get all the stuff from NI Komplete into the Mulab so I can create some songs. And, not sure if the reason is because I'm still using Mulab for FREE or not? Maybe do I need to buy the full version of Mulab or perhaps buy a svt plugin module like I see offered on the mulabs products page? I'm stuck here...so please advise either what I'm doing wrong or do I need to upgrade to paid version of Mulab, or buy a the svt plugin module or what? I saw a YouTube video where somebody was using NI Komplete Elements within Mulab but not sure what it takes to mesh it all together? And when trying to let Mulab find my Elements stuff, I also did individual try's from my pc downloads area, and from desktop and looked from program files, ect... I'm stumped here folks ! What am I missing? Thanks. Darryl.

Well, you need to find installed vst's and load them into MuLab, so click on empty slot in rack and dialog will pop out, under section called "vst", there's option called "Browse for VST Plugin...", click on that and it will open new dialogue to find those plugins, so go to the place where you installed your plugins .dll's and load some of them clicking on them.
By default, that should be somewhere on C drive, like C:ProgramFiles/VST or C:ProgramFiles/Steinberg/and etc, do a search and see where some of the plugins are (Kontakt.dll, Reaktor.dll and etc)

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?

If you have not already, you will have to enable "see hidden files , programmes and folders" in "View" in "file explorer options folders options" found in control panel, or you will not see the dll's.

Did you install the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Mulab?
If its the 32-bit version do a search of
C:\program files (x86)\ for .dll files
if its the 64-bit version, search
C:\program files\
instead.
