Muxtool update

Hi...

Sorry to ask advices for soemthing that has been certainly already discussed hundred times...

I went to check if any muxtool update was there and yes there was one, I downloaded, put the files in my vst folder, etc...
But now, I've lost all my keyboeard shorcuts (AArgh !) , preferences, etc... Those files have been overwrite...

Really bad, because I spend a lot of time to have good shortcuts.

I'd just like to know how to update, next time, and avoid this issue. Which file should I overwrite and which one not...

Here's what I do for a full new version (not just the executable and ID files):
- Move the old MuX directory somewhere safe
- Extract the ZIP file into the same place the old MuX directory was
- Copy the content of the backed up MuX directory's Users\Settings folder into the new MuX directory's User\Settings folder, overwriting everything

That has the advantage that it's easy to get back to an older version.

Yes, indeed, there is only the user/settings folder that contains user data. I think I'm just making some backup of this folder.
