Trouble purchasing T3 to T7 upgrade

I have T3 and would like to upgrade to T7. The Tracktion website says it's possible, but when I add the upgrade ($30 version) to my cart is says, it's an upgrade and I need to remove it from my cart. Is there some other step I must take before I can purchase upgrade? I bought T3 while it was owned by Mackie. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
