Add Tap-Tempo to the Korg Nanokontrol Script?

Hey All

I have absolutely no experience about javascript. but would it be possible to add the tap-tempo function to the already existing script of the korg nanokontrol. it would also be ok to replace one of the transport controls with this function (for example the play or rec button).
any help how i could do that appreciated!

allright...i thought in the wrong directions..was able to map it via the shortcuts menu
