Anyone else think it's weird that Jules and Mackie haven't mentioned Final Mix being bundled with Tracktion at all? Not on this forum, not by email, not on the mackie forum, not on the raw materials website, not on the mackie website ....

I think it's cause some disgruntled employee stuck it in the last update installer 
It's kinda wierd to include that as in an update with no mention..you would think they would pump that online rather loudly as a selling point.
It's also odd that it's bundled in like it is. Kinda distracts the eye from the Tracktion update; were you guys hoping for more in that last update? Maybe this is to keep ppl quiet..
I thought about buying Tracktion just to have this plugin..I don't know what it's about. My experience with Tracktion is limited at best.

I think it is something of a bone to the dogs, but I guess other possibilities are:
1) no official announcement 'til the mac version so as not to piss of mac owners
2) testing the water for inlcuding such plugins - how do people react, how much support work does it create etc
3) documentation and functionality is still a little unfinished so this is kind of an unnoficial beta
4) mackie held a huge employye party, the hangovers are still fading, and no-one can be arsed/see straight enough to update the webpage and send out emails.
5) you're all stoned and there is no such plug

When I first heard about it here on KVR my first thought was let's download it now before they discover the mistake.
It's a great plug, very transparent but I prefer my TRacks for final mix.

Trackton has done a great job by word of mouth and reputation. Some companies spend millions on advertising then skimp on paying the programmers who make the product.
