So many songs!

... and so many cool/interesting ones (from what I checked out so far)

..even if the production/engineering work isn't "stellar" for some of them, they have more to offer than some better produced/sounding ones out there!

1st time in a while where checking out the songs within a contest one by one is a very positive experience!

I hope it worked out in the end because I can't find my entry in the list:(.

It was very enjoyable to make a song as well! This was the first time I had used Synthmaster extensively.

Even though my entry is the typical "Eee Dee Ehm OMG Dubstep" that seems to get a bad rap on this forum, I made it a point to create each sound from scratch. It definitely improved my sound design practice.

Except drums. Because holy cow drum synthesis is hard. Or at least very counter-intuitive to what I'm used to.

Of course it is. This is nothing more than a popularity contest of who can get the most of his friends to vote. Do you really think the best song is going to win?

I was absolutely STUNNED last year making the top 20 when I did absolutely no promotion at all. And Bulent actually included me in his personal top 10 list.

But make no mistake about it. He who has the most friends is going to win this.

That's just the way it goes.

Unfortunately u r right Wag - every song i upload receive immediatelly 1-2 offers from weird accounts to pump my fans number but this (was)is the music industry at all,can not blame players for following the rules of the game - Syntmaster had humble presentation in the past compared to other developers considering that probably right now is the best soft synth written so far still need more introduction and sounds:)Peace out

I totally agree with you, and when checking a few songs to see the people liking them I saw one song where 4 or 5 had the same surname.

You can also easily see who have promoted a song elsewhere when o song could have 200+ plays, while the ones above and just under, in the list have around 20.

Not that I would win anyway, but I would prefer if the KV331 team take full control of the judging.

Bulent, I'm not complaining. In fact, It's not even that important to me. I entered this because I love writing music. No other reason. But take a look at your playlist at the songs that already have hundreds of plays and then those that have 1 or 2.

It's the way of the world. I've accepted that a long time ago.

As long as I make your top 20 list, I'll be happy. lol.
