Oh I got Sotto and it is fantastic. I don't remember a 50% off of Sotto before. Good lord...if the next few days...I cannot think about it.

Sotto is relatively new, so I wouldn't expect a 50% off deal anytime soon. This is as cheap as it gets (so grab it while you can).

I really waned to pick it up, since it obviously complements Capriccio very well, but my budget/xmas budget is just not agreeing with me! Oh well... I imagine it'll be worth its weight at full price too!

After buying my kids toys for Christmas this year, I only have about $80 left. Not like I need another synth, but are there any good ones for less than that? I already have Helix, ACE, and Synthmaster (all less than $80). Maybe TAL-U-NO-LX?

It has really a good sound (especially bread and butter sounds). The GUI is fantastic with this nice resize. The simplicity of the design is great IMO and finally the CPU usage is low. What's to hate?!

Well, for me, yes it is.

Low CPU usage on a VA generally means low quality sound. In fact, I can think of no exceptions to this. I hate the sound of Sylenth, I can't believe that anyone likes it TBH. But then, there's this entire generation raised on EDM and really low quality distorted filter sweeps and I imagine that, to some people, mediocre filters are synonymous with a desirable sound.

I'm not sure that I would buy it at any price. I did try the demo, it's immediately hateable.
