Hi,

would love to see VSTi/VST support enabled also in MUX synth, so I can completely circumvent the DAWs routing and put out each synth on different stereo-outs...

Would like to use VSTis and VSTs within containers....

Is it possible?

Yes you can use VSTs in MUX Modular, but no you can't use VSTs inside the MUX' PolySynth, that's technically not as simple as it may seem. For example it would mean that for each voice of the PolySynth (currently 48 by default) there must be a different instance of the VST, so that's 48 instances!! And then all these instances would have to be kept in sync, etc.

Hm, no, I think I mean this much more simple:

By using only one MUX VSTi instance, with instance aliases for different midi / sequencer inputs...
So the one instance would hold all song VSTis, but also would provide fancy routing / modular capabilities! :o

EDIT:

I now see that this actually is already working :o

The only thing for me:

Please allow VSTs in containers, too!

You can put a MUX in a MUX. So you can put a VST in a MUX in a MUX etc, no limits on the modular structure. And each "MUX level" can be saved as a preset, etc. That's one of the advantages of modular.

Thanks! Sorry, I need to get more familiar with this nice software first, obviously.
