Rational wrote:Anyone know how much longer the Lexicon reverbs are on sale for? And how long it will probably be before they're on sale again for this price? $199 for the full PCM Native reverb bundle right now at JRR and audiodeluxe. I see that bestservice already increased their price on it.
Lexicon just extended the sale to December 31 and we'll probably have it running a few days extra while we have leftover inventory. 60% off is the lowest they've ever been, the largest discount before this was 50%:

Lexicon LXP Native Reverb Plug-in Bundle $79
Lexicon MPX Native Reverb Plug-In Bundle $39
Lexicon PCM Native Effects Plug-In Bundle $199
Lexicon PCM Native Reverb Plug-in Bundle $239
Lexicon PCM Total Bundle $399

Waves will do another sale this weekend, then January 1, then another in the middle of the week, then the following weekend, etc. etc. ;)

Melda is perpetually mad with their "perpetual madness" sale. It should keep going until the sun burns out.

Vienna Symphonic Library does a new sale the first of every month. Always.

Toontrack usually starts sales on the first of every month. November and December are the only months that break this pattern.

Yes, it's a great sounding synth. DIVA and Repro-1 are greater sounding synths but that's just my opinion.

Sorry, if you click on the products, the sale prices will show up.

Fortunately, Chrome is modular. All he needs is a new filter module. ;)

What I end up doing is buying from another distributor. maybe consider putting the sale prices up on the page or putting some copy that says "click the product to see the sale price". naw... that would make too much sense.

It's actually a website re-indexing issue, I posted that deal before our site's database had a chance to catch up. If I'd waited 5 minutes to post (which I acknowledge would have been a better thing to do), the prices would have shown up as soon as you clicked on the link.

I found it was a filter problem. It was set to not on sale items instead of sale items. Changing it showed the sale prices.

Filter issues all around.

Note to vendors: If you send me a coupon called a "gift" for X dollars and then don't allow me to use it to purchase a product that costs X dollars or less, you've left a negative impression in my mind. You didn't send me a gift, you sent me a discount coupon. That's ok, really it is, just don't call it a gift. You would have been much better off to have called it a coupon and included that language in the email, or, make sure that the "gift" has a lower value than anything in your store.

...but to me it's not a give as long as I have to pay for it to get it - so when there's nothing lower in price in your store that I can get for free pls don't call it gift!

Slate had one of the best year end messages that I have ever read. It was humble and spoke to his passion for music making. It acknowledged mistakes made, a commitment to learn and he honoured his team. I don't usually read year end letters from companies or politicians but this one was very good and there was no cheesy come on. It showed class. I just thought I'd mention it.

Do you think they will just do introductory sales when they have new instruments, or will they keep doing both those and real sales at the same time like now with the vouchers? (I'm still planning to get those through JRR, by the way.)
