Somebody mentioned somewhere that it would be cool if MuLab had VST's and that got me thinking about it, instead of Jo creating them or trying to make something unified across the board in MUX realm, how about teaming up with some well known developer?

So for whom would go for here, which tools would you like to see/use as factory ones in MuLab?

My gut response was ToneBoosters, plenty of good basic tools, but than Melda came to mind and think that could actually work, have a feeling both devs. are similar DSP genius underdogs. :)

Also, I know that's not gonna happen and this is sort of fun thread, so yeah.

And another Michael's great suggestion (dude you are on a roll these days), freebies that complement MuLab, so yeah, go for it.

It might be useful to identify free VSTs that complement MuLab, like analyzers?

Well, for me that's usual suspects here like Voxengo SPAN&AnSpec and s(M)exoscope, than again, Melda got stuff to cover this too. :)

Maybe we can turn this thread into recommend a freebie that complements MuLab?

Why not really, number one thing for me, EQ with display, I know I'm not supposed to EQ with my eyes and all, it's not about that really, it's about just doing what you want fast, so no fixed bands for me really or fiddling with knobs, anyways, there's Melda one there too, most capable free one IMO. :)

The Mux EQs sound really clear, but if I am working with a complex sample it's good to have an analyzer. One that is x-platform FOSS, clean GUI like MuLab, lots of statistics and ways to mod the display, has right-click to freeze(!), and a toggle to fullscreen(!!) is Signalizer: http://www.jthorborg.com/index.html?ipage=signalizer
