Honestly there are other ways of using timestretch, I personally have zero interest in a clip launcher or using loops beatmatched as is, but I use timestretching all the time for small adjustments or sampled stuff. I whole heartedly support your opinion that music is more than dropping in loops but I would really love (even just a very basic) form of timestretch in Mulabsolipsvs wrote:all mulab needs is ergonomics / workflow / UI / feng shui adjustments. it doesnt need time stretching, mulab is not a clip launcher. i think its time wasted. its a luxury item. stop using audio loops in mulab? write music? loops are loops, music takes a lot more effort than dropping a loop in. there are many 3rd party time stretching utilities available. this will work, just stretch to time and insert to composition. voila

if you have short drum samples as bongos, snare kick hi hat, and without much reverb, slice is the best quality solution. but if you have ride cymbals or crashes or drum loops with much reverb, slice give not so good results. program a good time stretch algorithm is very hard and complicatet. maybe it can licence elastique 3, what it cost more. if it cost maybe 30 Eur more per copy i pay this 30 eur more, if sampler can use this modes. also make grain sounds time stretch is very good. see granular2 free. it is a kontakt script and short grain loops can smooth very good.
and for guys that do not want time stretch a light version, at old costs can release. so the questions is, if licence elastic 3 how much it cost more and how much are users pay more.

Jo, I just saw that video you posted in this topic about slicing and then adding that reverb to the snare. I tried doing that because I had never tried it and I ran into a crash I've had before when undoing (ctrl Z) a couple of times in a row after deleting a device from a rack slot. I'm sorry it's the only example I have but I think it happened before with one of the preset organs or choirs I'm not sure.. it's been a while since I've encountered it

My bad, sorry Jo, bad judgment from my side, that information seemed like an something you would actually said to anyone publicly and in this thread, yeah, wrong.mutools wrote:Pls keep private conversations private please.Zexila wrote:Hope Jo doesn't mind sharing part of our private convo. to answer this![]()

Little off topic, but XP theme bellow is just like natural extension to that orange color scheme in the video and Mulab looks quite awesome with this Zune theme too.

Sometimes there may be differences in wording, details, etc between a private or a public talk, even in things that may seem like public info to you. I'm sure you would also appreciate that if you tell me something in private, that i first check with you before eventually passing on what you told me in private, right? Just like in real life. Thanks for your understanding Zexila, much appreciated, no hard feelings.Zexila wrote:My bad, sorry Jo, bad judgment from my side, that information seemed like an something you would actually said to anyone publicly and in this thread, yeah, wrong.mutools wrote:Pls keep private conversations private please.Zexila wrote:Hope Jo doesn't mind sharing part of our private convo. to answer this![]()
