Linux Mint: problem installing T7

The following is seen when attempting to install T7 on a Linux Mint 64 bit system (libc 2.19-0ubuntu6.6) :

% cat /etc/debian_version
jessie/sid

The error is reported as:

The « !pkg->trigaw.head » assert has failed.

Therefore no T7 package is installed.

Is there a way to install T7 ?

Simply unpack the deb, then use ldd to install missing deps.

I was going to take a look at the Debian package. I'm a bit busy but gave it a try seeing your reply. It turns out that the package is extremely simple as well as the number of files.

The nice is thing is that, after placing the binary at the proper system location and 2-3 other small support files in /usr/share/ there was no need to add anything else library wise. It ran and registered right from the start.

So it runs. Does it produces audio, I don't know yet. But it runs. I'll start looking into T7 early next year.
