It was our fault, there's no reason for us to have Guest checkout as an option.

I will buy it if I get a price like €35, I always will need another subtractive VA
I`ve bought it for 34,28 €. The DubTech expansion is included in the download.
Edit: And yes, i always need such too :)

Can anyone tell me about upgrade prices to the softube bundle? I've read that having at least one of their plugins qualifies you for a good price, does having more of their plugins lower the price substantially?

Good for you dude :tu:

I hope PB customer relations, when they get round to my issue, will see that I need the same treatment :)

I think you can only upgrade from 1 plugin. If you have multiple you can select which and the rest will stay in your account. Look at https://www.jrrshop.com/softube-volume-1-bundle-upgrade for prices.

Thanks. I'm confused though. The Softube website currently lists the upgrade at $199 and that you should log in for your best price. Does this mean that $199 is the lowest possible price, or that your price will be better with another softube plugin? Most of the JRR upgrade prices are higher than that even with another plugin.

I bought it. the way it works is if you have one of their plugins that it in in the bundle, you can use it to upgrade to the bundle at a reduced cost. the more valuable the plugin you have the more of a discount you get. when you get the iLok code you have to agree to relinquish your single plugin license to active the bundle. then the single license is removed from your account and the bundle is activated.

When you log into Softube your account is linked to your iLok account and the site chooses the best option for you to upgrade. Some resellers that sell this have a dropdown that lists all the included plugins and the resulting price if you use said plugin to do the upgrade (eg. everyplugin.com)

Thanks, I understand the basic idea. What I'm confused about is the $199 price listed on Softube's site without qualification. Since I don't currently have any softube products, nothing shows up as a price in my account. Is $199 the lowest possible price if you buy from Softube, or, do they offer a better upgrade price than the resellers, which seems unlikely?

If this makes no sense, it's because I have a giftcard, so I'm trying to determine if it makes sense for me to get a softube product with my gift card with the intent of upgrading later.

$199 is the suggested list. it can be had cheaper at resellers. Since you dont have Softube products, you aren't eligible for upgrade pricing. You can get a better price from resellers. Check everyplugin.com as I find them to have the best prices. but there are others like audiodeluxe and jrr plus others.

You can make a spreadsheet of the cost of an eligible plugin vs the cost of the upgrade and go for the best deal. I was very luck with the Softube bundle deal.

I understand that, but, if I had a softube product, e.g., one that I purchase with my gift card, then I would be eligible for upgrade pricing.

So, let's use a specific example with prices from EveryPlugin.com.

Suppose that I use my gift card to get TSAR-1R. Cost to me, totally free, it's a gift card.

Then to upgrade to Volume 1 from EveryPlugin.com from TSAR-1R to the bundle is $279. This is quite a bit more than $199 that Softube lists. Which is why I ask, what is that $199 price that is on their website if you don't have an account with them? It seems misleading.

Dude, the $199 is the cost of a 1 year subscription. $279 is the price to upgrade from TSAR1 to a lifetime license. Did a lightbulb just go off? :D

Ah, I see the upgrade price of $199 also... it says "best upgrade price" implying that the best upgrade price is $199, presumably for the full Summit Audio Grand Channel. $199 from Softube, $139 from everyplugin.com.

That's what I thought was happening, it's missing the key phrase "as low as", or maybe it's there and I'm just not seeing it. I assumed that "best upgrade price" was just a link to get your best upgrade price and that $199 was the highest possible price.

Arobas Guitar Pro 6 $24.50 or Guitar Pro 6 XL $34.50
BBE Sonic Sweet Optimized $49
Eventide Anthology II Upgrade from 4 Plugins $99
iZotope Music Production Bundle Upgrades ($299 from Standard or $199 from Advanced)
