Is PACE software used as part of MeldaProduction's licensing model

It would be nice if I could verify ASAP that no PACE software would be installed by the plugin demos. There is one plugin in particular that, if it sounds good, I'd like the chance to buy before the Christmas sale ends ... but I have an inviolable policy against installing PACE-laden software on my computers. I've emailed this question to the company's support, but their web page suggested they will respond "when they have time", which I worry could be late enough to make me miss out on the holiday sale.

Thanks to anyone who can shed light on this question!

You're in luck.

We now use licence files to activate our software. Each file contains information about the individual user to whom it is registered. There is no need for an Internet connection nor hardware dongle for activation. The usual way of activation is to drag & drop your licence file into the plugin you are activating. Some hosts, especially on Mac OS X, interfere with this process, in which case you have to take an alternative approach as described in this video tutorial.

Band C amp
Clicks and pops is all I get

There is no PACE, ilok, etc. It is just a license file.

Thanks! I just installed and tried MBassador out, but for my needs (orchestral percussion sub bass, e.g. low enhancement of taikos) I actually feel like Logic's built-in Sub Bass plugin gives me more of the effect I want. Maybe I just don't know how to set up MBassador well, but I tried all of the drum presets and wasn't sold by the results.

I did not test (could not, since I have no Logic) Logic Sub Bass, but to me the workflow is quite easy: load MBassador on any material which needs more bass and voilá - more bass. :D ... just try every parameter from the plugin so that you will undersstand what it does so that you can adjust it even better. I did not use it on orchestral percussion yet. Tested it quickly with some taiko samples and it sounded like expected: more bass.

What exactly do you want to achieve? For example: I like to use only EQs in an orchestral setting - and only very little, since most samples and physical modelling stuff out there already sounds good to me. And one thing I am learning over and over again: less is more. ;)

For me the trick with MBassaor is setting the cutoff right.
I use the anylizer and set the cutoff between the fundamental and the first harmonic.
