Well, all is fine then, isn't it? ;)
Not when you want to compare it to oranges, i.e., "most other plugins."

was running 28 instances of Mpowersynth with a square wave(shape was different in different instances) + 10 voices(max for all) + 34.8% detune(varying in different instances) + dynamic eq(in m powersynth) +Reverb (1.2-3 sec)+Arpege(was off or on for some instances) + a complex midi file
Cpu usage
36%

load distribution across all cores on single slave was equal
sound quality in vst was set to ultra

Massive users Need your Opinion on how good is Massive regarding cpu usage
REAPER, Phase Plant , Unfiltered Audio TRIAD and LION, NI classic collection,......... ETC

I consider Massive to be a low CPU synth. I believe it uses less cpu than Mpowersynth (with similar preset config).

I could play 16 instances of Massive loading the first preset (1991) and when all armed playing with my keyboard, it shows about 41% cpu in my Studio One v3 (44.1 khz with 128 buffer using iTwo Asio driver). I consider this a very good result on my i5-4570 cpu with balanced power options :)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

You don't have to buy it now, especially you already have a powerful synth. If you use Reaper, then you have also a very good collection of effects.

When you are ready for the next purchase, check the 2nd hand market here in KVR. You can find Massive for half the price or little bit less sometimes. Anyway, when you know your Mpowersynth well, you would know also which other synth you need ;) Buying your tools step by step, IMO, is better than buying everything in one go.

wtf? Reaper has by far the worst effects of all daws. Most of them are unacceptably bad and will literally ruin your track. Please stop giving bad advice to people if you don't have a clue.

Do you mean they are buggy? What do you mean by "worst" effects of all daws?

They sound like shit except for the compressor, and all have the usability of a drunken moose. Some of them are also buggy, but that's a given, it's Reaper after all.

LOL yes there is, but apparently also something wrong with your ears.

Sound like shit?! Why would the compressor be an exception then?!

Man, you are the one who doesn't have a clue it seems! Reaper is fine, and for the price it is unbeatable. It doesn't ruin your tracks at all! :nutter:
