okay so I have several questions,
1st, how do I change the octave of the input device of the midi
for example in ableton when testing an instrument I can play the qwerty keyboard to play midi notes and use the z and x keys to change which octave the computer keyboard plays..
second question, how do I get that same input controller to also affect the other tracks without having to drag it from the previous track to second one that ive just created.....
correct me if i'm wrong but aren't these some crucial functions in a piece of music software that should have been obvious from the start, i mean iv'e read the manual and searched google for 3 hours, surely i must be missing something?!?!

There is a built-in pitch changer plug-in that works on MIDI and audio, but I don't know if it quite does what you want.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

if a company like this cant get something this simple done effectively then they don't deserve anyones time, since they seem to be adamant to waste it,

a short search via google gave me the tip with the tracktion pitchshifter plugin, also working on midi.
just place it before the vsti in your track and change the pitch one octave up or down.
what's wrong about this?

May not be what your after, but may be of use.
Basically does what I want, put vst on each track, set one to master, the rest to slave,
enter transpose value in master, hit enter on your qwerty keyboard & voila global key change for all midi clips.
If it's of any use/Interest to anyone else:

LINK Gone.
I have plugin downloaded if you want it I can email.

think it may only be 32bit
