OOPS! Sorry everyone, we typed the wrong date into our system by mistake.

Sale prices are BACK on our website: https://impactsoundworks.com/products/

Since we messed up, we are extending the sale an additional day - it ends at the END of 1/1. And if there was something you intended to buy and for some reason you miss that deadline just contact us and we will make sure you get the sale pricing. SORRY!

I'm sure it will be back. It seems like hey are constantly having sales on something. Though it might not be as good until next year.

Though it seems summer has the next best sales after Black Friday. At least for things I like.

Now that my Morph plugin deal has morphed to zero ...

I am looking at GRM Tools on sale
https://hiamusic.store/collections/ina-grm
Any idea when the sale is over?

Are these VSTfx or VSTi’s?
Are they 32 or 64 bit?
Will work in Windows 10?

I find three tools interesting and priced a bit more that I want to spend but it is doable.
So please chime in and help me decide which one or none.

GRM Tools Evolution
Sale price£108.40 = about $133.90
https://hiamusic.store/collections/ina- ... -evolution

GRM Tools Spectral Transform 3
Sale price£83.19 = about $102.74
https://hiamusic.store/collections/ina- ... ransform-3

GRM Tools Classic 3
Sale price £83.19 = about $102.74
https://hiamusic.store/collections/ina- ... -classic-3

I am down to the wire.

@Rational, seems like you've actually taken that course and liked it, yes?

Anyone else have first-hand knowledge of it?

Of course everyone is in a different place, different experiences, goals, and blockers, but a lot of bullets in that outline sound like My Life(tm), stuff I'm already thinking about but still letting get in my way. There's lots of other resources on the site too, free and paid both.

Do you have to watch all videos within 5 weeks? Or you still have access to the material afterwards? I'm interested but have limited time on my hands.
Hi Guys,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you both on these questions.

Yes, you have permanent access to the videos on their site forever once purchased. Go at your own pace.

Which is what I have done. Gone at my own pace. Been too busy shopping lately. :)

Yes, I own the Mastery program and a bunch of others. All fantastic. I haven't completed the mastery course though yet as I only recently purchased it. But I contributed to it's content a few years ago as I sent Vespers my long detailed list of struggles at the time and then they all seemed to be reflected in the course outline when it was released. Sadly I didn't buy it at the time. Perhaps if I had bought it two years ago I'd have created a lot of music since, but alas no. I waited. And haven't created much since. But I have it now and so far it has some excellent info. Check out the opening video with Ill Gates on the salespage. Great interview and ideas.

He's also got some other great courses. I'll repost the sales email below for anyone who didn't see it before as the sale ends at midnight PST tonight. So only a few hours left to buy some of these.

I'm interested in the Myagi synthesis and sound design course today. Might grab it while it is only $39 instead of $350. 22 hours of in depth content. That's a steal.

Also interested in his music hacking bundle for $99. 3 courses for that price. Looks like more great content.

Here's the stuff on sale until today:

GRM Classics was different when it was introduced, but you likely have other plugs to do most of that. To say it in a clunky way: Evolution extracts interesting elements of a complex sound while it is playing; while Spectral changes the frequency distribution of a simple sound to make it more interesting. Relative usefulness depends on the type of sounds you use.

From what I gather you are saying is to ignore GRM Tools Classic 3.
That is why it was on the bottom of my list.

I like to do ambient and experimental music. I am well stocked on VST fx but am looking at GRM tools as they seem to be unusual. I work with samples not synths.

So now I am left to decide on one of two or none.

GRM Tools Evolution
Sale price£108.40 = about $133.90

GRM Tools Spectral Transform 3

Decisions, decisions!
What's a guy to do!

Any idea when the sale is over?

Will work in Windows 10?

Thanks Rational. Most of Vesper's stuff isn't my type of music but the Creative Mastery class sounded interesting. I just don't have time to do it in only five weeks. I ended up taking advantage of puremix's sale for a year of their training, which seems similar in some ways but directed at the DAWs I use. Maybe next year I will try it out. I have Ableton, but don't use it much.

Thanks for the offer and info.

Picked up a couple plugins from you earlier today.

This license needs to be manually generated. You will be contacted immediately when it becomes available.
I can wait a couple more days if that will do it.

I had not decided on a Morph plugin but certainly ZMorph was in the picture.

As for the GRM tolls good to know that the Deadline is Feb 5, 17.
I hope people will advise me on these plugins.
Too bad the plugins are bundled and not individually available.

FYI. One nice thing about buying particular Vespers courses is that you get additional discounts off of certain plugins.

Like 30% off of Serum (so $132.30) and the other XFER products. LFOTool is $34.97. Cthulhu is $27.30 and Nerve is $139.30.

If you buy the Synthesis and Sound Design course you get the discounts within that. No end date it seems on the coupon code too, which is nice.

There are also discounts from Fabfilter (50% off. but you have to spend at least $300 at Vespers to qualify and its NFR), Cableguys (25% off on Curve 2, FilterShaper 3, VolumeShaper 3, MidiShaper, & Cableguys Bundle.), FXpansion (25-50% off depending on product. 50% off DCAM Synthsquad), Izotope (50% off. But must have spent $200 at Vespers to qualify).

Edit: Forgot, also 40% off Ableton products as EDU. (Must have spent $300 at Vespers to qualify.)

Hope that helps. I think theres 2 hours left until midnight PST if interested. I just picked up the synthesizer and sound design course for $39. Great deal.

iZotope, I take it? They're on holiday right now (must be nice), we'll get it from them as soon as they're back on Monday. Thank you!

Too late now I think, you've made your decision and I think Vespers' sale is over, but anyway...

Yes, you have permanent access to the videos on their site forever once purchased. Go at your own pace.
And also for the record, my understanding is that the Creative Mastery course isn't DAW-specific. It's not even about music specifically, it's about how you approach life, creative stuff especially. Click on the 'What You’ll Learn' tab in the course description, you'll see what I mean.

Personally, it talks about a lot of areas where I could stand to get a bigger portion of my sh*t together, so I took the chance and jumped on it late last night. There's also a 60 day money back guarantee if it ends up not being your cup of tea. Now all I have to do is have enough of my act together to put in the time and Do The Work, on this and the other bunch of things in my life that I say I want to do. Which is what the course is about really I think...
