sorry, somehow I didn't get notifications on this thread.

We're currently re-building all of our plugins with the latest GUI SDK version so all of them will get VST 3 support. WORMHOLE is in beta – we're taking some extra time to refine the CPU load on the pitch shifter, and adding some bells and whistles. I know it's annoying to wait for stuff but trust me, the wait will be worth it :-)
We've built MORPH as VST 3 in-house, but we want to get rid of all quirks before releasing it; some hosts for example get muchos confused if a plugin has more inputs than outputs, and as a result do some weird routing (like both signals being fed into all inputs etc). Most likely we'll add some sort of "force dual mono" switch that explicitly tells the plugin that it should use L and R for A and B.

CDP is very cool indeed.
Hi Denis, I'm interested in picking up MORPH but will WORMHOLE cover similar territory? Wormhole can do morphing and pitch-shift but there is not much to see/hear apart from your demo last year. I'd hate to get something only for the next gen morphing/pitch shifting magic to appear so soon afterwards. Will MORPH users have an upgrade path to the new Wormhole?

I'll let Denis explain, but I really doubt Wormhole will be similar to Morph, why do you say Wormhole can do morphing? Where did you get that?
As far as I know from their website, Wormhole is a special pitch & shift tool, while Morph is a, well, a morphing audio tool...

IIRC Wormhole is the new/reincarnation of "PiWarp", correct?
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

as they did with Time Factory II :

My bad, for some strange reason I got confused between the terminology for the local time domain frequency inversion matrix of the spectral warping used in Wormhole and the spectral frequency morphing (or perhaps more accurately, the mapping of time-varying spectral envelope of one sound on another) that is discussed here previously. To be fair there is not much info to go on except for a single vid on YT, the one from SOS where the interviewer puts his big head right in front of the screen so you can't even see what they talk about :dog:

After checking out PiWarp the demo makes a lot more sense and I can see the differences, looks like it'll be a very interesting tool. Essential for any PsyTrance producers for sure!

Thanks for the link spitfire :tu:

Hi!

MORPH takes two inputs and creates a new sound with properties of both. WORMHOLE takes one input and turns it into mutated alien higgs boson inversion field interference sound vortices of utter awesomeness.

In a nutshell: WORMHOLE will not make MORPH obsolete in any way, and if I may make an educated guess: you will most likely want to have both.... they pair extremely well. Oh and they both LOVE playing with ADAPTIVERB, too :D

WORMHOLE's WARP section is indeed an evolution of Prosoniq's PiWarp, but the plugin is not just a reincarnation, it has been fully zynaptified. Since the announcement, we've added quite some stuff to the feature set – more info soon.

In terms of applications it is targeted at film/game sound design (its REALLY good for voice alienification/robotization/demonification), electronic music genres with a focus on far-out sounds, and even bread-and-butter pitch/delay/reverb type effects for sweetening in music mixing. It's quite simply a lot of fun, too, and makes some sounds that are really mind-boggling.

WRT ISOLATE: we will be doing something with the technology (which, IMHO, outperforms any other frequency domain editor or separation tool) but have no announcement to make right now...

Even though my credit card is about to melt I'd buy Wormhole in an instant :D

That actually does explain it quite well. Some more demo examples would be nice.

This is what I was afraid of!! :help: You should put together a 'creative bundle' or even better is the Fabfilter loyalty discount model to help us afford these awesome tools.

I finally could afford Morph due to the nice campaign. Wow. So much awesomeness, I can't wait to plug my modular into this :D

Audio-morphing some Tuva throat singing from MetaVox with one of my Halion 6 pads using Zynaptiq Morph. As we were discussing some audio-morphing tools in another thread, I made this chilling evening experiment...

sounds alot better than anything I came up with. Unfortunately the demo has now expired but I still have the demo of melda morph I might try that again although I did prefer the Zynaptiq Morph2
