Is there a way to map a midi controller to the controls in the MuSampla so that the mapping is default for every MuSampla used and the mapping is only active when a MuSampla receives focus? At the moment I know I can right click on MuSampla controls to map them but it looks like you have to do that individually for each MuSampla in each project and that sort of defeats the purpose somewhat.

You could save a MuSampla preset with the controller maps setup and reload that MuSampla preset. You just have to make sure the MIDI controller mappings are in the MuSampla, not in the rack containing the MuSampla. See http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mux/us ... llers.html

So, I'm wondering if we can link a controller to the start (and to a lesser degree the end) location of a sample. I'd like to be able to control/sweep through any of the samplers, Sampla or Grain, to different start locations in a sample using a rotary controller on my keyboard.

Maybe you can do what you want using the new Grain Playe module. Use a long length so the sample plays all the way, then you can automate, modulate and MIDI control the start point.

Yes, I see what you are saying here. That kind of works. Though, I suppose a FR would be to add a start time knob to the MuSampla as well. :)
