Are you able to sequence external hardware using step clips? I ask because I can use MIDI clips to sequence external synths, but not step clips for some reason. Yet others on non-Linux systems are seemingly able to do this. If you're using T7 on Linux, please let me know if it works for you.
Still hoping I'm just doing something wrong here, but wanted to check with others to make sure it wasn't a bug.

Nevermind, I figured out what I was doing wrong - didn't realize that each "track" of a step clip had a default MIDI channel of 10. I changed them all to channel 1 and was in business...
