Truthfully, I'd rather pay the manufacturer than Pace. Seems a little more fair.OneOfManyPauls wrote:I can see why a developer might be happy to have those higher fees there if they believe that the fees might put people off selling/buying used and push them towards buying new, putting money in the developers pocket. It could be useful to then point to that external agent and blame them for the fees.dzilizzi wrote:And? It is ridiculous that a product that sells for $100 (or less) would cost $25 to transfer. There should be a sliding scale on these things.
but it's not just ilok that charge fees like this - xfer do, tone2 do etc, and at least the product doesn't go NFR with an iLok transfer.

Can we go back to talking about synth filters now? Anything but more Pace/iLok...

Got this rather mysterious message from Samplephonics today, is this some way of cleverly marketing that they have gone sub all access or something ?

Dear Noiiz Product Team,
We have now had a chance to fully review the data and have made the call to go ahead with the Unlimited Plan. As you know giving our customers unlimited access to the entire sound library is a big and somewhat scary move, but the data has been overwhelmingly positive and we are confident this is the right thing to do. We'll be in touch soon with details of the switchover.
Here's to a bl**dy exciting 2017!

Anyone else missing the order fulfill from GuitarCenter $10 deals from 1st of january?
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Just noted that 2/3rds of Plugin Boutique's offers end on the 9th of January so I'm guessing the post-festive offers will be starting anew again.soundbylaura wrote:I miss all the sales and free stuff. Come back, holidays!
Unless there's some ridiculously good offers, I think I need to learn what I've bought over the last few months first.
