It seems so.
There are built in effects such and reverb, EQ, a bitcrusher, a flanger and filters etc.
All seem custom to the DAW. Appeared to not have presets or ability to save settings.
It crashed while I was looking at the built in effects so my experience is rather limited.
1 instance of HY-Mono in a whole note 4 bar loop and I started adding the built in effects. It crashed when adding one of the filters (the 4th FX I had added).
Crashed and still had sound playing so had to reboot.

I've not worked through the bundled suite yet as far as knowing which might be limited in some way.

In the video he sometimes struggles to make finger gestures work, looks like gymnastics. Then I might as well stick with my mouse
I don't think I will ever get a touch screen, because my fingers are just too big relative to the control size, way bigger than the mouse pointer, which is basically pixel accurate.
Not to mention that I don't want a screen full of smears and bacteria

Yup! Innacurate, and laggy

Pixel accuracy usually is not an issue if two-finger zoom actually works, which seems debatable in the video demo

"Free full-featured DAW" ??? It has all the basic stuff, but there is missing so much that i would not call this Full-Featured. On the other hand...it is free, so yeah, for starters, it is a neat little DAW.

"24 hour learning curve, vs. 2 years" ??? C'mon...i learned FL Studio, Ableton, Sonar, Reaper in 1 week (per DAW). Lumit might cost 'only' 24 hours, but that is because stuff is missing.

"Professionally Capable" ??? How is this being measured? It is missing quite a lot compared to "REAL" Full Featured DAW's. Still, it can handle mixing, automations and it has plugin support. When is a DAW NOT Professionally Capable?

The built in FX is mediocre, the browser is lacking depth (only my C:/ is showing for instance), i can't detach screens (since it is multi platform, i was expecting dual screen support with detaching), no overdub recording (with the already recorded notes still playing), the mixer looks truly aweful, no way to change the appearance (other than color coding tracks...), no pianoroll tools like chopping, strumming, random/humanize, sequencing etc..., (i could go on....)

But..it is free. And it is nice of them to add a free package of waves (percussion etc). De-installed it.

It is the most conservative and conventional DAW maybe (as far as i know).
In this day and age every DAW (some exceptions, ofcourse) can be used professionally. Maybe not in the most classical way (ReNoise), or the way mixer desks would work, but that doesn't say anything.
