Multi-page feature in Digital Music Maker about sequencers. All sorts of obscure shite mentioned. Even a section on budget ones.
Not a single mention of Tracktion! "Choose the right sequencer" it's called.
Pillocks.

The other sequencers probably payed more for product placement.

f**king CM this time. Letters page. Someone wanting a Rewire and VST capable host thats available on Mac and PC cos he's got both.
They spew on about Cubase and Pro-Tools and having to buy two lisences, one for each platform. Muppets.
Rewire/VST/Cross-platform/no-need-to-buy-two-lisences-cos -you-get-two-anyway? Answers f**king obvious to me.
Pricks.

What the...?

I love eXT, but it's hardly a cross-platform, dual-license rewire-compatible host. Got the no-hassle part right, though, at least.

;)

If Red was still over at CM, they wouldn't have run bullshit like that.

Well I have to say I have occassionally bought DMM and find it totally unreadable - what you report from the latest issue is of no surprise. Like you say - Pillocks.

Post

I have to concur - I've bought DMM twice and both times I considered it a waste of money after reading it.

Post

That mag is fantastic, i think they have all the good stuff covered :D

Post

Every time I've had a look, it's a waste for me. It's $18.95 CDN here, so it had better include a cover disk with something worthwhile... which it doesn't.

-Mediocre articles
-demo software and no samples on the disc

No thanks.

/me hates DMM! i bought it and couldn't believe the shoddiness of layout, errors and all round rubbishness. especially the CD... why are ALL things in EXE format? even samples? ridiculous.
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.
