T7 crashes and has some problems

I love T7, but while I am getting a computer setup for it, I am having some issues. I am using Windows 10, a Xeon processor, and a SSD. I have installed some Waves Plugins, which I understand can cause troubles...I am having unexpected crashes, and a few other buggy things. And it seems like 6-7 plug ins installed on a small project is choking and using up all my CPU already, I expected that I should be well able to handle more than that! I might start with uninstalling the program and reinstalling it, and take it from there. Any suggestions?

Same on OSX, I stopped using T7 several months ago.
I faced crashes even with light projects with few plugins.
I've been waiting for an update, last was 08/19/16 ???

I'll have to give it a shot with T6. I need to have a good reliable system and I have high hopes for Tracktion!
Is there any preference for running Waves Plugins as VST or VST3?

Same on Linux. What I don't understand is, that there is no proper log file/error message which can be send to the developers. Tracktion just crashes without any reporting.dupont wrote:Same on OSX, I stopped using T7 several months ago.

I noticed that as well, there is nothing there that tells me anything.

I am happy now. I have been working constantly to try and figure out why I have these problems... after looking deeper into my computer and reading errors in the Event Viewer I saw that it might have something with the 64-bit setup I have been using. I installed 32-bit T7 and everything is running very well! I don't know why, and my computer should be able to handle the 64 bit but anyway, things are happening now and I can use my Waves plugins and everything...so I am much happier now!

Running Waves in VST is best, if I run them in VST3 they take way too long to load in, and I have more issues.
