Repro-1 - Disable keyboard triggering clock on host sync

Hello, is anyone aware of a way to have the Repro-1 clock synced to host without the keyboard retriggering the clock (and thus the LFO)? I have a pulsing sound to be synced to the host clock, but do not want the LFO to restart on keyboard input. It works as intended if the LFO is set to rate, but then I cannot guarantee the LFO is in time with the host.

Is this a bug or just part of the design? Thanks.

Set the clock source to Clock (to the left of Arp direction switch).

That switch does not seem to have any effect on the behavior. Legato playing works okay, but every new keypress/gate retriggers the Clock/LFO.

As far as I can tell, this seems to be a bug. When the LFO is set to rate, the gate does not retrigger the LFO, as intended. When set to clock at the LFO, regardless of anything set at the ARP switch, the LFO will always reset with the gate, whether the clock is running or not.

This is a problem for any patches that need LFO synced to clock, as any slightly off keypress will put the LFO out of sync.

Anyone else able to confirm this?

Go to the sequencer page, and set the 'sequencer play' switch from 'on key' to 'always'.
That QA guy from planet u-he.

Ah ha. I had not expected those controls to change based on the page view. Thank you for the help.

Apropos of nothing ;-) here's a quote from page 21 of the user guide:

"ON KEY | ALWAYS switch: The ALWAYS option causes the sequence to continue playing even if all keys are released (simulating a hold pedal). ON KEY stops the sequence as soon as all keys are released, restarting it when a new key is pressed. Please note that this switch is global per instance of the plug-in: the status doesn’t change, even when you load a different preset."

RTFM, got it. I would base my confusion in having not associated the LFO controls with the sequencer's controls. Despite owning an actual Pro-One, where it's one knob labeled LFO/Clock, I failed to associate the LFO with the sequencer rate (or at least it's deeper controls) in Repro-1. I would say it could be a bit clearer to not have switches of a hardware-inspired interface only pop up on secondary pages of the GUI. But I will concede that RTFM trumps all.

Good point!
