It's worth keeping an eye on Zinio too as they sometimes do silly prices on digital subs for CM, FM and MusicTech too.

I've subbed to all three as they were on great offers and worth having. Just watch out for the auto-renewal setting though!OneOfManyPauls wrote:It's worth keeping an eye on Zinio too as they sometimes do silly prices on digital subs for CM, FM and MusicTech too.

Way too soon to talk about 12. First you'd see a major half price sale this summer, for upgrades and crossgrades. I guess 12 will come in the spring of 2018.

I thought so too, but, I remember some chitter chatter about it some time ago when people were talking about Kontakt 6. I'm totally on the fence with the Komplete upgrade because there's stuff that I REALLY want, but, I feel like I'd be paying too much for it.

I've been on the odd number plan since 5, so I'm due. Because I don't have 10, I don't have the new pianos. I'd like to have them but what I really want us Una-Corda, as well as some Reaktor thingies.Fleer wrote:Same thoughts here, as 10 is just fine. Will wait for 12.

My feeling is that Komplete 12 will be released first half of this year. K12 with Kontakt 6 will be a big seller even if it is released today. Very likely to guarantee more sales due to an early release NI will include ABsynth 6 or Massive 2. K12 will also have something new. The next release cycle will be back to normal. All this is because they missed Kontakt 6 in Komplete 11. My two cents.ghettosynth wrote:For those of you who buy way more often than I do, what's the road map for sales going into the spring? Should we expect sales from NAMM? I know that NI often has a Komplete sale, I wonder if 12 is on the horizon?

I would doubt that Komplete 12 will be out until at least Fall 2017, made later - Komplete 11 was just released in September 2016 (Komplete 10 in October 2014). They'll just add new products, maybe a Kontact 6 and some others as they usually do, before they have enough for a new Komplete release. Just my thoughts.Kalamata Kid wrote:My feeling is that Komplete 12 will be released first half of this year. K12 with Kontakt 6 will be a big seller even if it is released today. This is where I am also. I am happy with Kontakt 5 for what I do. But some of those pianos looked good. Just not how much they want good.ghettosynth wrote:Fleer wrote:Way too soon to talk about 12. First you'd see a major half price sale this summer, for upgrades and crossgrades.

Of course, if I didn't have 5 million pianos already, maybe the price would sound better.....
Okay, that was a slight exaggeration. There are only 4.3 million of them....

K12 will be their anniversary edition. If they release early they may not even give it a number. They may call it Kann or K1213.rockhopper wrote:I would doubt that Komplete 12 will be out until at least Fall 2017, made later - Komplete 11 was just released in September 2016 (Komplete 10 in October 2014). Edit: Due to absence of Kontakt 6 in K11 and the possible early release of K12, K11 owners will be given a discount on the upgrade. That's my prediction!
