160 euros as an upgrade price in order to get crossfades
Annual sub in order to access new stuff? So If my 12 months run out and I need just a single new thing you guys add after that, say a single small update, I am forced to pay and entire year's sub? And what if when the sub runs out the daw is left with bugs.. I will be forced to pay an entire year's sub in order to get access to fixes... If you want to go down that route why not a monthly sub then?
And to think that there is no piano roll upgrades, no track comping, no top 10 improvements asked by the community that supported you for years on end, just crossfades (which is the only one that you caved in) and random goodies noone ever asked for which are cool but basic day 1 functionality is missing from bitwig for years. Seriously what a slap in the face that is..
Oh and lets not forget that the upgrade pricing / year sub pricing is the price of what a license goes for used everywhere. I will let the conclusion slip to other people.
I really hope there are tons of other stuff revealed otherwise this is just a way to tie people down into painfully slow update cycles.

Well, we didn't have to wait for NAMM, did we? And I don't see them saying they didn't fix things or add all that wish list stuff. I will definitely be quizzing them on it when I see them.

I hope they improve on the api for external controllers
I want to be able to use my Launchpad pro properly, like I can in Live
and also what about improvement on the midi side of things.
I don't mind paying for V2 if they sort out V1 first
cheers
Kev

Looks like greed took over....159 EUR a year for what? The current progress has been nothing more than fixing 1 bug and creating 2 new ones. No thanks, not gonna pay to be a beta tester.
