I am excited about it, but I don't need it the second it is released. I have to weigh out what my priorities are, I think I want to cross some hardware gear off my shopping list first. However, this definitely takes precedence over getting the next VST purchase, I was eyeballing Neutron but it's hard to get as excited about mixing as I do about composition. Honestly, I feel pretty spoiled right now, I have so many more options at my disposal than I did 10 or 15 years ago.

Yes, great update, but 12 month support, is not a good idea, i'm not talking about mayor upgrades but simple bugfixs.
I recently seal my waves licenses because very similar license model.
I like new version, but i will think about upgrading, only what is stoping me now is 12 month support business module, it's not good, little bit disappointed...
Maybe it's time to go back to ableton&logic :)
No offence guys, you did great job but this time not for me.. :(

kind of a crappy upgrade price. I hope those of us whom were first to purchase 1.0 at least get a crack at the beta. Looks fun but the 1.0 dev cycle now seems half assed as cross fades and what not could have easily been added into it and now have to be paid for. Not real impressed yet...

Just read till the end of the text ;)
So still not there, and still promised.

This is the reason I got bigwig 1, I'm not falling for it again.

So with the support model of 1 year how much is support for the next 12 months?

Also does the support cost give you access to all new major versions or are they still upgrade prices?

I'm trying to think when version 1 came out, was it the end of 2012, lets say we start at 2013.

The updates we have seen some with new functionality but also each one with lots of bug fixes cover 3 years, so you would have initial product cost and then 2 years support to keep up to date with the new stuff and bug releases.

I'm wondering how much this would have cost?

Always wise, but if you own it, you get to beta test. Go put your name in.

Really? Mea told me there would be something to talk about, but never said what. That was hard enough. I'm bringing my wish list with me.

I also like the promise of improved touch control. I played some live sets from a Surface Pro 3, and tried working on some songs in airplanes etc for a bit, but for me the exprience of producing with touch was beyond horrible. I did not have stylus, so the UI was just too small, and the piano roll editing with fingers was a joke in my exprience. Playing a clip based live set was OK, the biggest problem really was that the Surface is so light that on a glossy table it was sliding all over when I launched a clip :D So I'm interested to see what has changed here, even though I don't have a touch PC for now since I sold away the Surface a while back.

So, with stuff like this now out, it would be cool to be able to to make the touch UI larger than the small screen of a portable device:

I hope somebody makes a similar Windows touch projector...

Already did :), if it blows me away I'll get a copy asap, if not I'll just wait till a feature I want is added then make the jump.
