What's up guys,

Just to know if anyone actually tried the beta version of Bitwig 2.0. Can you let us know any new features you know of that haven't been announced? Those small things people demanded in forums?
For instance, regarding clip launching, is there legato clip launch mode? Has the mouse behaviour been altered (modifier keys..) besides deleting with left click? Any improvements for live setups?
Any other special details?

Cheers :tu:

My favourite 2:

1) You can freely change the track height
2) You can costumize the browser columns

Even in the popup browser? That would be great indeed.

Yes, I was talking about the popup browser

Anything else?

Filled out the form but not heard back yet about the beta

was hoping you were talking about the side browser. I find it so cluttered, would be nice to customize it.

Do you happen to know if Sampler device supports SFZ? or any other multi-sample formats than the bitwig internal one?

So are some people able to access it already?

ATM Bitwig 2.0 is in closed Alpha.
I don't know exactly when the Beta will start, but I would guess not before NAMM.

Cheers,

Tom

- 32 Bit bounce in place.
- Pen Tablet works now (my Wacom Intuos 4 & 5 for instance).
- Polyphonic modulation for factory devices.
- MTC & Midi Clock sending without script - I just used Cubase 8 LE as video player for BWS, synced via MTC.
- Ability to disable the device-type-pre-selection in the popup-browser (my personal favourite ;-) ).
- You can start with Dashboard, New Project or Last Project now.
- Default presets for Devices.

Does that mean I get my midi out with Kore? (or anything - it doesn't recognise my RME midi outs either)

It's recognising Midi outs just fine aMUSEd - you just resist accepting that it works a bit different from other hosts... ;-)

And no, this feature is just about Midi Clock and Midi Time Code.

Tom

I'm not resisting anything, as far as BWS is concerned they don't exist, at least not in any usable way. A midi out that works regardless of script is what's needed.
