I found this (read post #8):Ingonator wrote:So if that is so easy how could i play a polyphonic instrument from multiple instances of Repro-1 in real-time using this setup:
- Windows 10 764-bit
- Live 9.71, Cubase Pro 9.0.1 or Bitwig Studio 1.3.15 as hosts (using Live 9 is preferred)
- NI Komplete Kontrol S61 controller keyboard
I tried using those free midi routing plugins:
- PLZmidi MIDIPolyphony
- ReaJS VST2 plugin with MIDIChordSplitter script
- Xhip Notelogic

Anyway, I think there are some workarounds I can think of (not live though). I can record the chords with any other poly synth (midi) and then 'explode' it or split the midi into midi files (like I do with drums sometimes to separate the kick, snare, ...etc into their own tracks). Then, insert 3 or 4 instances of the mono synth each with one (monophonic) line.
Another thing I could do is to just make the desired poly chords in a poly synth, then insert one instance of the monophonic synth and make a preset near that poly sound, and then layer it with the poly to get that thickness or character or whatever!
Isn't also difficult to make all those thick sounds to sit in the mix?
