I always forget that one.
And i hope they did sometinng about the playmarker..(leave him along!
That's what I am curious about too! When I record external stuff and go to grab the first transient to line it up, the first onset is almost always inaccurate or not even there at all.jonljacobi wrote:Any changes to onset detection and automatically adding stretch markers?
Is the handling and timing of stretching versus raw audio with variable tempo been fixed?
I don't see any mention of multiple time signatures so I'll assume that's not there.
You and I must work alike. My problem is that for every note, there seem to be half a dozen onset markers with lots on the tail of the note. Then having to manually insert stretch markers is a gigantic pain. Thankfully, I own Melodyne.WXLF wrote:That's what I am curious about too! And I don't see anything about multiple time signatures, I don't think that would've been left out of the video if it was there. I'm kind of getting the feeling this isn't a high priority for them
Don't suppose the polysynth canndo sine waves now, can it?TristanMendoza wrote:The updates made to Polysynth are great. I cant show pictures, but its got loads more functionality and features packed in.
Also the sound is very...musical..? I don't want to say it sounds analog, but it sounds impressively musical. No matter how crazy you get with the filters, and modulations, it still sounds amazing.
Lately some of my favorite sounds have come from Polysynth

It's not actually a new feature. The black keys were highlighted, just in a far too subtle manner. I agree on the looks though. The entire interface is just way more inviting than any other in my book.F5DX wrote:I am glad to see that the 2.0 piano roll has highlighted keys, although not listed yet as a new feature. I wish the highlighting works also for hovering over the editor with mouse, not only when playing back the edited notes. Also, if right click erases notes with the pen tool, these too will speed up working with the piano roll a lot. The piano roll of Bitwig is IMO one of the best looking piano roll editors anyway, great eye candy. Also like the fact that the notes change color (already in v1.x) based on the track color. Simple, but effective features.
What things are you looking for to be fixed?sonson5 wrote:Tristan can you give us some info about the other little things fixed here and there? Anything regarding groove pool or locking audio a d midi to a groove? Or maybe any changes to the global groove..
Also anything happened in the piano roll worth mentioning?
Thanks in advance
