Where was this said?

Well, actual wording in the email from TSC I saw this morning was "Current users of Tracktion's T5, T6 and T7 DAWs will be able to upgrade to Waveform as usual." That really gives no indication to price. While that has been the consistent model thus far, this is a new piece of software with new plugins too. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a price bump. We'll see.

Waveform with the sampler is quite interesting. I assume this will also be available on Linux.

Will the Waverazor also be available on Linux ?

The Door Engine is also quite interesting.

Not much details on the Copper Reference interface. It's a stereo preamp, isn't it ? Not a full-fledged audio interface ?

Super excited about this!!! May end up upgrading now, and using this in my live rig. A dedicated mixer is a must for my live tweaking of effects and synth levels.

I'm excited about the dedicated midi window in addition to the traditional inline mode: best of both worlds. (And having the full screen mixer on a second monitor will be a nice addition as well).

No, it's an interface. Designed to be the best if money's no object. The proposed price last year was around $5000, which puts it way out of my reach.

TSC has find an idea to upgrade the version and to upgrade the price, from 60$ to 99$...
The argument is... The included Collective Sampler !!

I loose my bet !
With friends, I bet that the new price would be "modular". For exemple, if you don't want to buy all the sounds relative to the Collective Sampler because you have yet a lot of sounds, you will be able to buy only the basic version of Waveform...
Lost !!
In the first time, the actual basic DAW comes with the sequencer and the 5 Gb sounds for the sampler...
But probably in the next future, the new "Basic" price will include the sequencer, the 5 Gb sounds, the 16 effects plugins, the MasterMix effect, the BioteK and the WaveRazor synths for a price of... lets the bets on !!
