I took a peak at the pre-release forum and figured it was the AI stuff.

Thanks for the heads-up :)

no, I meant what I said - there is a real difference between being a graphic designer and a user experience designer. I also meant what I said about it will never happen.

Thanks for the link! That's high-end enough for me
to move a larger monitor atop the upgrade list. :hyper:

My bad, I'm getting my wires crossed, I was thinking of the sample fade/xfade curves. I forget that Reaper has bezier curves because there are no handles. Reaper has never been my main DAW though. I find it indispensable as a swiss army knife of audio tool and as a Ninjam host.

I really have no idea what features are requested. I think that I have an account over on the Cockos forums, but I don't really use it much. I think you'd have to know that people have been requesting that to think of it as a big deal.

Not exactly rocket science, the devs themselves have made it quite clear they have no interest in UX.

Well, if the supposedly experts in UX are like the ones ruling the GUI at Apple and Microsoft, I hope they remain ininterested in UX, and keep working with House of White Tie in what concerns graphic design.

No disrespect, but do you know how silly it is to compare UX with graphic design ?
I suggest you stop even replying about this, you obviously do not know the massive difference between the two.

I was not talking just about graphic design (although these cannot be dissociated, IMO). I'm sure the designers working for any of the companies could do a better job, if asked. I was talking about the overall concept of the interface, and philosophy behind it. If this is not related with UX, then I'm wrong, but maybe you could enlighten me then

UX: User Experience Design, which should be the focus on usability and accessibility. Yes there can be overlap between the two with regard to a final product, but they serve two very different roles.

Hope that helps.
