Hi..

I'd like to change the MUX tool sync LFO frequency with some modulation signal at its 'freq' input but keep the LFO freq always to a sync value.. For instance : 1/4, 1/3 , 1/2 , 1/6 , 1/8 , etc ...

How could I achieve this ? I'm searching since hours without any good result.

Thanks for any advice ! :hyper:

I'm trying to find a way to send 25, 33, 50, 66, 75, 100% exact value but on a random order into a LFO or multipoint envelope speed input...

And I just can't do it ! :D :help:

Oh ! I've found the parameter value randomizer ! Eh eh... :hihi:

Yep, thats what you need :D

But I don't find the way to change the parameter value randomizer settings from 1 to 8 ! Is it only changeable with the mouse ? Grrrr !

I'd like it outputs randomly one of the 8 value ! This would be exactly what I need ! :hyper:

!! I thought I found : 1 trigger note by each of the 8 settings but the trigger key is the same for all 8 !

I don't understand how the parameter value randomizer works exactly.

And even if I select any of the 1->7 parameter, it outputs only the n°8 !! :scared:

Is this what you mean ?

Yes ! Thanks a lot !

I finally found a solution closed to yours with midi note data value. :) But it doesn't really satisfy me.

In your patch, are use of parameters value randomizer obligatory ? Simple parameter event generators would be enough, here, no ?

I don't understand perfectly the "parameters value randomizer" module. Why is there 8 settings only selectable with the mouse ? :help:

If one could select one of the 8 settings thanks to an event input or a trigger key, that would be excellent !

This is what I thought first : select one of the 8 settings with 8 different trigger keys but I was wrong.. A pity ! If it was possible, it would open great possibilities : call a memorized value when needed (perfect for what I want to achieve : send to an LFO a sync clock value) and even call a randomized value inside a range amongst 7 other thanks to a midi note !

But maybe it's already possible thanks to some other modules ? I really need to find a good simple solution to this.

Thanks for any info and answers to my many questions ! :D

I modified the patch previously posted by bibz1st,
check the attached project.

Edit: File updated , the previous project not work correctly

Thanks but I can't open it !

I guess it's a Mulab file and I only use Muxtool...

Playing a C4 sustained note you have the same example in mux:)

OK, what about this one, can do random and selectable

Nice idea bibz1st!

I have a slightly different problem:
I'm working on a editor for my Nord Drum2 and the 0-Coast.
It's all fully Midi CC controllabe, so I use plenty of Midi Controller Generator Modules driven by a Constant Value Module from the front end. This is fine for the continuous paramter like frequency, but not so ideal for things with low amount of variations spread over the entire CC range. E.g. there are 7 filter types which change every 18.2 CC value (19, 37, ...).
Your 'exact' solution would be perfect, especially with the pads i can give names.
Unfortunately it does not work when directed to the Midi Controller Generator.

Any idea how to solve this?
My current solution is a front panel knob that is limited to 1..7 which is then amplified through several green cables to a 1..127 range. Kind of works but I like your idea better.

Thanks
Andreas
