Monark has a single BP mode (slope not mentioned at the GUI but is 12db/octave) while The Legend has two BPF modes with 12dB and 24dB. Overall The Legend has 4 filter modes now with two for the LPF and two for the BPF.jbuonacc wrote: 'Monark' has a bandpass filter as well.
The only mode that is now not included in The Legend is a 6dB/1-Pole LPF like found in Monark (Monark has 3 LPF modes and one BP mode).
The 24dB Bandpass in The Legend compared to teh 12dB mode that is included too could really make a big differnce in the sound while the same is also true for the 24dB/12dB LPF modes.
Most BPFs included in vintage synths semed to be 12dB or 6dB but not 24dB like the corresponding mode in The Legend. From the analog synths i used/owned myself only the Novation Bass Station II (got this last year) has a 24dB + 12dB BPF too (and the same for the LPF and HPF).
In some modules of the the Moog Modular a lot of filter modes seemed to be available too.
Monark also has no aftertouch and velocity suport like just added with The Legend v1.10 while with a little tweaking it should be possible to add this to the Monark Reaktor ensemble.
Besides that there are additional reasons why The Leegnd seems to be superior to Monark.
