Samples are like software?

That's a different question. About that account itself I'm pretty sure you can't resell it as it's unprotected sample content. Are there other sample library accounts you're allowed to resell? I'm not being a dick. I'm actually wondering.
. I know you can't even resell loopmasters or zero-g CDs let alone your account. If they did allow it it would be a massive loophole that would come back to bite them and the authors in the ass.
I'll see if I can find it in Eula language. I don't remember seeing any, but usually with sample content I assume I'm stuck with it until I die, like diabetes.

So five years down the road, you will be stuck with EDM samples from 2016 for life.
But I guess they will become in vogue again at the end of the 2020's. History usually repeats itself in music, 70's disco became hip again in the 90's.

Honestly, its all in how you look at it.Numanoid wrote:So five years down the road, you will be stuck with EDM samples from 2016 for life.

This is a subscription service, but to resolve the issue of access, they simply state if you download it, keep it and use it as long as you like... But if you lose it, you'll have to subscribe again to access it.
So no, not like Image Line, where your content is kept in your account for your convenience to come back to whenever you want.

And I should add that not all of it is EDM. Yes, most is geared toward EDM use (probably something like 90%), but its all in how you use it, since after-all, its just samples that can be mangled and designed to taste.

OK, so you can neither resell second-hand Image Line or Noiiz products that have been bought.elxsound wrote:But if you lose it, you'll have to subscribe again to access it.

But if you should accidentially delete a product, you can download that again for free from Image Line account, but will have to pay for it again at Noiiz (if your sub has run out).

+1. They have great ethic percussion libraries. Their Gambian percussion library is great.elxsound wrote:And I should add that not all of it is EDM. Noiiz = Subscription service (online access only as long you have an active subscription/offline as long you want or can store it).Numanoid wrote:OK, so you can neither resell second-hand Image Line or Noiiz products that have been bought.elxsound wrote:But if you lose it, you'll have to subscribe again to access it.

Imagine Line = lifetime access (including updates + plus you only pay once).

There are packs of/for lots of genres, but if I were to pick one as dominant, I would say it is Hip Hop.Numanoid wrote:So five years down the road, you will be stuck with EDM samples from 2016 for life.

They put up the Windows version of the plugin, but it requires Windows 8 or higher. Kind of disappointed. The plugin actually seems to work under Win 7 except for the audio playback/preview. Not sure how they made that Win8+ specific. But it's kind of the whole point so I think I'll just keep downloading packs.
The Limited Edition 8000 samples was sent to me as a download link in one of the emails, it's not on the site.
