I have the paid for version. And man there is some weird shit going on with this daw. It seems to add or remove tracks at will when I'm trying to edit. And a multitude of other strange things. I'm flabbergasted.
I've been working with music software since the apple 2 and Atari and this is just weird. Well you get my point. I've down loaded it a coupe of times. And same thing. Is it the way I'm looking at it

You will have to explain, step by step what you are doing. No on reading your message as written is going to be able to have any idea what you are doing and whether it's something you're doing wrong or not.

Ok i'll try. like option drag to copy a section and it just disappears when I drop it. Or hit undo after recording a short bit and other unrelated tracks may disappear. I have been working in little short one or two note frames because that seems to be what this software is geared for. Or it has completely crashed several times. Bang and its gone. Like just not one or two little glitches but many. Mostly stuff vanishing or not staying where Im trying to put it. I know it sounds a little bazaar but this is what is happening. I really like this software and I'll learn how to work with it (it reminds me of a cross between smpti mate::for the Atari:: and Pro tools) but why is it so finicky. Is there a more "Rock Solid" older version out there? Oh well thats my story. On a lighter note here is a piece I did today just for the hell of it.

Like I say, in order to understand what you're doing, it's easier if you can write something very, very clear:
State Mac or Windows and OS version
State MuLab version
1. Open MuLab with a New project
2. Add Kontakt 5 into a Rack and load up Scarbee Bass
3. Drag the rack to the track + mark to create a new track
4. Draw in a new sequence part
5. Double click and draw in note
etc.
Then say what you expected to happen at the point something went wrong and what actually happened.
Yes, it's tedious.
However, it allows others to reproduce what you were doing and see what happens for them
It will also help see if there's a bug or something you're doing that's unexpected to you but expected by others.

Im Starting to get around a lot better today. perhaps Im expecting it to react something like Logic or Nuendo but obviously not the case. One specific problem I have still is Changing the velocity in the edit window. If I add a note to say a drum track and play the sequence the note I added is very low volume even though the velocity graft looks right. and if I change the velocity on that note it just stays the same volume. Another problem is trying to transpose a bunch of tracks at once. When I hilite the tracks and right click "Transpose" it won't transpose the whole track, or say "group of tracks". If the track is made up of 4 bar snippets it may only transpose one snippet.

just answered my own question. Shift Click to select multiple. Now I must figure out the transpose problem
