The email I just got regarding the level balancing of dry input and 100% wet output of early and late reflections doesn't seem right. The way I read the instructions, we are to try to balance the level of the dry input with the individual outputs of each enabled early reflection generator and each enabled late reflection generator individually. Is this correct?

I can see balancing the combined early reflection generators with the dry input and likewise for the combined late reflection generators. But if we do them all individually, won't the sum of the wet output then be too loud when multiple early generators or multiple late generators are enabled?

I hope this question makes sense.

I think it was just: total ER volume must equal input volume, total LR volume must equal input volume.

Yes you are supposed to do them individually. They wont add up because of the "gain compensation" feature.

Aaaaah, classic... :D Damn, these things are like laws, there's always a way to misinterpret the instructions :D.

Anyways the point is, that with early 0% and late 100% and ideally anything in between, the level should be similar to the input level. In other words, the reverb should be always similar in loudness to the input. That improves the workflow with it afterwards a lot.
