Is it possible to set the phase for the Sub OSC?
I have 2 oscillators and a noise sample set up just the way i want but i feel adding the Sub OSC introduces a phase misalignment and no way to tweak it.
Maybe i'm missing something obvious here.
The two oscillators have no random phase ofcourse.

Hi. But with which OSC?bitcrusher wrote:Sub osc is perfectly phase-aligned, but of course to hear this you need to set the rand knob(s) to zero.
I mean i've manually offset the phase of both OSC 1 and 2.

Is it possible to have a classic pitch lfo like in any other synth like the virus? Ive noticed if you assign the LFO to the CRS it doesnt sound like a virus/massive/jp etc... lfo pitch, you cant make those fine adjustments or am I wrong?

One annoying bug (latest version). If you load a fresh serum preset, you can switch properly between presets, but if you reopen your saved project and try to switch between presets, Serum won't remember the preset position, it things you have started with the init preset and switches to the second.
Same weird behavior happens to wavetables, reopen a project where you used Serum. Serum won't remembers that you were using a "User" Wavetable, it starts at the first wavetable when you try to switch to the logical next wavetable.

Maybe better to post your niggles at the Serum forum.ridgero wrote:One annoying bug (latest version). There may just be something new cooking for Serum from the shadows of the void.

Sorry if I am missing something obvious but is smooth not applicable on LFO 5-8?

A workflow question.
How do you guys/gals usually assign velocity to amp/vol?

You do it in each oscillator, I usually set a low base level and add about 50-60% of velocity, if you want to assign the volume of an osc to a Macro, also use that Macro as a sub-modulator for the velocity assignment so it only becomes active when the Macro is dialed in.liv wrote:A workflow question.
