What i really don't like from UI side is the transport bar size and this huge bar above. Waste of space.

Audio Mod device stills exists 1:1 as it is in 1.x. Just need to enable legacy plugins in the preferencesNKirn93 wrote:Can you disable the envelope follower on Audio MOD? If not, is there a new way of modulating a parameter at audio rate?

That's just what I was thinking. Never mind.shadiradio wrote:Hmm I thought premiere badge owners would be included in the first beta. Oh well.
It seems that "sampler" has been optimized as well. GUI overhaul and playhead

It does look somewhat large. I'm not sure why they felt the need to redo that basic look. I know Claes referred to it as old-fashioned when I interviewed him. I thought it was fine. Actually, I thought it was damn near perfect.Andrey Marchenko wrote:What i really don't like from UI side is the transport bar size and this huge bar above. Waste of space.
Graphic designers, like many artists, need someone to stand behind them and hit them when they start messing with perfectly good stuff.

if I set my 1.3.15 to 125% upscaling(preferences display) then looks like exactly of this so hopefully it's just for promotion

don't have the 2.0 beta, "if I set my 1.3.15 to 125% upscaling(preferences/display) then looks like" exactly as the one on the screen shoot from https://ask.audio/articles/bitwig-studi ... pport-more

My first thoughts. Every pixel counts for tracks spacecodec17 wrote:Djeez you,re right, that is big and waste of screen space..Andrey Marchenko wrote:What i really don't like from UI side is the transport bar size and this huge bar above. Waste of space.![]()

The timeline is bigger now.
Also bottom bar is too big and space in between device bar. Vertical space is very precious. Please optimize it more. Lighter colors? Why to bother - space for production is crutial! No menus, icons - experience users dont click so much - we have shortcuts.

I don't think they made the UI take up more space. Polarity is scaling his ui so it's bigger. Here he is running at 100% https://puu.sh/tPgTj/1e12cf57a3.png

Do the math, it's like +/- 5 px we are talking about here.
As far as the actual impl of the title and tool bar that is still being discussed in beta.
But before you start talking, measure stuff first, it is an optical illusion, you are loosing NO space. It's the new design you don't like.

For sure. I don't like design solution for transport bar since day one. It's too huge.TeotiGraphix wrote:It's the new design you don't like.

I read somewhere that badge holders may start receiving the beta this week. Are they able to tell folks they got it (if they do get it)?
