This is a nice delay. Sounds thick and crunchy. The resonance gets wicked in combination with the drive. 16€ is no price for this piece! Thanks TAL!

Sound demo. TAL-Dub-X only no other sounds or fx or editing just fiddling the knobs and recorded in one rush.
But cliponly by airwindows is on the track to avoid surprising loud feedbacks

noticed that the plugin adds ~ 6dB gain, even when set to 100% dry, volume at 0dB, no drive.
is that a bug or a feature?

Correct. It must be a bug. I did not noticed it because I just used TAL-Dub-X on send and solo. You should inform the developer via support. https://tal-software.com/Support. The support is ultra fast and the bug should be fixed soon.

What does the "WIDTH" knob do? It's not covered in the user manual.

Modulation mono to stereo ?

Thanks, got it.

Another thing: I'm still using the old version (TAL-Dub 2) and the filter is very noisy (when using resonance).
Was this fixed in the re-issue?

EDIT: checked the demo, the noise bug is fixed.

It's by design. I ask the developer. That's what Patrick (TAL-Developer) says: "I checked the 6dB issue and it's by design. It should be 0dB when the MIX button is at 50%. The MIX button is only useful if you use the FX in a AUX FX channel to remove the original signal (100% WET) or maybe to fix the volume DRY/WET for a chorus FX. "

Any news on development of this?

They were updating the loop editor in the sampler,so I'd say Dub X is next up

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Nothing like a vintage sampler and a dub delay in the morning :phones:

Thank You for the heads up! I somehow managed not to test it untill now (even if I wanted to try it).

Tempted on getting this. I've used the original Tal-Dub A LOT before a Waves update forced me to upgrade my DAW to 64 bit - losing it.

On the other hand, I bet you could create this on your own (maybe using Replika?) and a good chain but I haven't tried it yet so I wouldn't know how it compares.

So, yesterday I bought it and today I managed to install and try it. I'm very happy of this plugin, I think it sounds just right (but I was a fan of the very first version, so...).
I think it deserves a place in my setup, which means it must be rather good, since I already had enough good delays (even rather expensive ones) to choose from and I don't really need yet another delay.
This is a very easy, quick-results, set-and-forget good sounding delay. I think it is going to be a classic.
