I've been on the lookout for a software to record my music with and be able to mix it with backing tracks etc. Is this a software where I can upload my own recordings and mix them with drum tracks?

Yes....

I will add that you can even vocod them with your drum tracks! And even without any need of an external VST!

You can even use it for free (without any limitation date) if you want to test it or if you use a max of 2 audio inputs, 2 audio outputs, 4 tracks, and 8 VST plugins (for a 3rd audio input or a 3rd audio output or a 5th track or a 9th VST plugin you must of course buy the license... which is not expensive at all regard all the huge things which can be done very easily, even creating your own synths and effects).
