DrumAddict wrote:i meant if you update lets say to 9.0.10 . it does not updates straight away . it asks for Cubase.msi and i needs to copy the full Complete Installer to the previous install location back that it can finds the Cubase.msi from the full complete installer . otherwise the update aborts with an error .
its now the same way with every steinberg update . dont know if it has something to do with Windows 10 .

Yes I know what you mean. I had this problem when Cubase 8.0 was released. I had to do what you describe to get it working. Now the good news is that 8.5 and 9 installed without the error on my system. I posted about this at steinberg forums and they suggested that the workaround was not to delete the original installer or change the location from where you launched it. They claimed that the issue would be resolved in future releases and I have since deleted the installer and the updates do work for me at least. Sorry you are having trouble. This kind of stuff is a major buzz kill. I am on Windows 7 64bit - Scotty

Its actually quite ridiculous.
I really am loving C9, but I really can't believe this bug made it from Version 8 into 9. Makes me think its intentional, but I really don't understand why that would be....

Some of the small details are a bit annoying right now, like double-click not being recognized. I notice it when editing track names, and when trying to open plugins.
That said, Cubase 9 kicks ass, and is definitely the best Cubase I've used (I started with 6).

I think there is a windows setting somwhere for this - how many pixels mouse can move and still be considered double click. There is also a time setting.bduffy wrote:WTH. That's insane.chk071 wrote:If it's the same as for the send effects, you'll have to make sure the mouse pointer isn't moving when clicking. Sounds silly, but it works.![]()
Thanks.
But you can also decide by yourself, if you capture the double thing as two single clicks.
But windows own message for double click use the windows setting.
A lot of things changed in Windows 10 it seems.
