A full album made entirely with ACE and electric guitar

I really hope it's not bad form to post this here: I made a full-length album where all of the sounds came from either ACE or guitar. (Sounds kind of like: Ravi Shankar meets Young Marble Giants, if produced by Trent Reznor.)

The circuit-bending controls turned out to be a secret weapon for glorious noise. Another favorite was modulating the pan control by the voice stack index, to produce some gorgeous stereo sounds.

Most of the tracks are just 1 track of guitar and 1 to 3 tracks of ACE, with an emphasis on creating extensive timbral development and evolution in single instances of the synth via extensive parameter automation.

Humbly submitted for those who might be interested, with deep thanks to everyone at U-HE for their fabulous work.

PS - Satin was used extensively in the mastering chain, as well.

Very nice. 'Do the Math' is also quite good, and with drums. This said about the drums, the piece 'Slow Motion Saturation' is very nice. The Spalt guitars looks incredibly nice - must also be very nice to play.

Thanks very much for listening, folks - truly appreciated.

I like drums just fine! But I also find that the presence and/or absence of them in a piece really makes me listen and focus my attention differently. And this record was conceptually a cross between a singer-songwriter acoustic record and an avant-garde chamber music ensemble. (Or something...)
