Well, you have to increase the price in order to afford to put them on sale.....shonky wrote:Out of curiosity, I checked the Unfiltered bundle price and it seems to have gone up $145 to $249 even though I now own them all??

There is a forum rule that once a deal has been posted, it shouldn't be posted again. Sometimes I'll put a bunch of deals into a single summarized post, in which case I might list a deal that's already been mentioned before (though usually towards the bottom of the post), but I don't ever post a deal by itself that's already been posted by someone else. If everyone followed this rule, the number of postings in the No Chat thread would be cut close to half.rifftrax wrote:Can I just say that bargain center thread no longer seems like "bargain center" it seems like "spam/advertise your shit here on a consistent basis thread".
Not hating on anyone's "bargains"... just saying. I almost don't visit the thread anymore because it's turned progressively more and more into a self-advertisement channel.

When did you last post a bargain?rifftrax wrote:Can I just say that bargain center thread no longer seems like "bargain center" it seems like "spam/advertise your shit here on a consistent basis thread".

I mean if you are the holder of the good bargains, why don't you share them?

LOL! I think what he is saying is there aren't any really good bargains now. Just normal sales....Numanoid wrote:When did you last post a bargain?rifftrax wrote:Can I just say that bargain center thread no longer seems like "bargain center" it seems like "spam/advertise your shit here on a consistent basis thread".

I mostly agree. Are they really bargains if they are always on sale for the same price somewhere?

The Adagio Bundle includes Adagietto which has some additional articulations.dzilizzi wrote:Okay, strange question. what is the difference between the separate Adagio instruments and the All Adagio bundle? Other than the separate 4 instruments are about $110 less than the All Adagio bundle.
I compared the various articulations and they are the same. I don't see any difference.
Now, at $386, you only get 20% off, but add the Adagietto and it is $505 - and the 40% applies. Hmmm.

You are probably logged out, $249 is the price shown when you are logged out.shonky wrote:Out of curiosity, I checked the Unfiltered bundle price and it seems to have gone up $145 to $249 even though I now own them all??

It is confusing. At the top it says it is included. But no where in the description do they mention it. And the number of samples doesn't support that it is included. But the total GB does. Weird. It does make sense, though, based on the price. Otherwise, why buy the bundle?mgw38 wrote:The Adagio Bundle includes Adagietto which has some additional articulations.dzilizzi wrote:Okay, strange question. what is the difference between the separate Adagio instruments and the All Adagio bundle? I'm logged in, shows $249, not that I care, but, data.pottering wrote:You are probably logged out, $249 is the price shown when you are logged out.shonky wrote:Out of curiosity, I checked the Unfiltered bundle price and it seems to have gone up $145 to $249 even though I now own them all??

I guess if you own them all it's showing you the price for buying them all again (as opposed to if you only own some it shows just the upgrade price)?ghettosynth wrote:I'm logged in, shows $249, not that I care, but, data.pottering wrote:You are probably logged out, $249 is the price shown when you are logged out.shonky wrote:Out of curiosity, I checked the Unfiltered bundle price and it seems to have gone up $145 to $249 even though I now own them all??

Yeah, my gripes weren't about JRR either. I suppose I could add what I view as repeat offenders to my foe list, but I'm trying not to do that as much as possible.Fleer wrote: The good Uncle E and his JRRshop are prime examples of bargain communication done right.

Sure, I can hold off on posting things if they're less than 50% off. In those cases, I'll wait and do a summarized post with a bunch of deals in it.ATS wrote:Totally agree. I love JRR but most of the stuff they post aren't that great of deals. They just post anything and everything. I would like to see the thread be for unusually good deals only. Anyone can find most of these prices pretty often and lots of times the item advertised in that thread have been much cheaper in the past therefore not a deal at all.

I don't think you need to change what you're doing at all. I find it informative.Uncle E wrote: Sure, I can hold off on posting things if they're less than 50% off. In those cases, I'll wait and do a summarized post with a bunch of deals in it.
