Totally agree - with the width aspect at least. I would like an option to make them skinny like the channel meters next to the faders in a typical DAW. Those are wide enough to see what's going on but take very little horizontal space.steve2KVR wrote:...seems to me, way too much real estate is devoted to meters in general...I'm only interested in the information available at the very top of the scale, where the "action" is...they don't need to be as wide either, how about more metered parameters instead...in most cases I don't really use them for the instantaneous stuff, but I do use the "over time" display...jmho.../s~

Sadly the width is often defined by the units and name, so it is the way it is, but I think it's not that bad.
Anyways, it's done - it will be solid, just with a little less opacity. Simply the poll is a tie and solid is faster for drawing and provides higher accuracy, so...

Hmm,
I reckon that it will need quite a reduction of opacity (increase in transparency?) so that the meter tones in with the background Here I have changed the colour for the IN, SIDE and LU meters so that their brightness is similar to the interlaced meters.
