Super awesome synth and near the top of my "favorites" list.

How it compares against Logics sculpture and madronas Kaivo?

I will try the demo but not until next week. In the meantime I would love to hear feedback.

Thanks

Right now I'm using it a lot to replace ordinary kit drums and standard percussion and make them weirder, but that's just a little of what it can do.

It's very tweakable.

They are very different. Kaivo is great but not my flavour so i can´t comment much to this.
Sculpture is still my favourite physical modelling tool in general since there is still nothing which can morph timbre and material in such a way. But it´s sometimes very hard to handle for musical results rather than sound design from outa space :D
Prism is my second favourite, then would come Chromaphone 2 for me.
But as usual it all depends a lot of personal workflow/likings etc.

It´s great yeah.
I still think about to buy Chromaphone now while it 50% off (demoed it just) since it can load at least .scl files which is great for me.
The GUI is a bit small but i could live with it.

I have the feeling i buy it this weekend....G.A.S. coming in....must resist....

Chromaphone is great. It produces extremely realistic and musically useful sounds in a number of physical modeling categories. I'd definitely pick it up at half off while you can.

The other one I have experience with is Kaivo. It really is a wild sonic playground of physical modeling... perfect if you're looking to experiment and don't particularly care about getting realistic sounds out of it. Rather high on the CPU too.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

If I could only keep one third-party vst it would be chromaphone. It's unusual and is extremely expressive.

True :D
Had a bad week and i can grab it for 89€ at best service.....resistance is futile.....

Prism is also very good for bells, sounds les metallic and more hi.fi in some way, more futuristic. But I feel it is harder to program.

Bought....yes, it´s more fun to not resist :hihi: For €89 it´s a good deal for me.
