Aye, hope you get the deal.incubus wrote:You said that about Lush. We don't have the same taste![]()
I made an offer to a guy. It's good enough.

Yep, because it's not really impressive either. It does have interesting features that I could see being useful.incubus wrote:You said that about Lush. We don't have the same taste![]()

It's not really a statement of taste though, just one of technology. I use stuff that's not impressive because I like it for taste. I just don't get it with soft synths because there's no shortage of cheap unimpressive synths. It's the one Uhe synth that I don't think is worth the asking price.

Ah, but unlike "bazille" there is a nifty multicore setting that is quite lovely. For whatever reason, the one on the bazille demo doesn't work (at least not effectively) I have no idea why.chk071 wrote:Ok, i was actually wondering about the LuSH reference. That's the thing about Hive is that on my new lappy it's easier to use that either lush or harmor. Presets are a breeze and I can happily plod away w/o worrying about such things.
Zebra is really good too, but I always feel like I'm missing something with it (not sure how to explain that)

LOL! You kids need new computers. Lush didn't slaughter anything but my ears over here.chk071 wrote:Ok, i was actually wondering about the LuSH reference. Can't remember having bashed it somewhere.Except that i said it slaughters the CPU.

Not to go all off topic, but what exactly is it that you want in a synth? I like all the loops, arpeggios, pads, etc. The easier I can tweak it to what is in my head the better. I'm not looking to re-invent the wheel.

Ok, then let's not go off topic since I've basically talked about it to death.incubus wrote:Not to go all off topic, but what exactly is it that you want in a synth? Ok, my CPU is about 4 years old... but, when you activated oscillator unison, or global unison in LuSH, and it still didn't busy your CPU, then you gotta have a very powerful computer.ghettosynth wrote:LOL! It's not that powerful at all. I didn't do a whole lot of unison though. I think that I still have the demo installed, I might not, It's a weird synth.chk071 wrote:Ok, my CPU is about 4 years old... but, when you activated oscillator unison, or global unison in LuSH, and it still didn't busy your CPU, then you gotta have a very powerful computer.ghettosynth wrote:LOL!
