No it works. If the demo detects SynthMaster 2.8 under documents/synthmaster folder it'll show the crossgrade option.zxant wrote:

here's the link anyways:

3rd time's a charm (well, 4th time incl. email) Simple yes/no/maybe would suffice.
Enjoying the new synth thus far. Light cpu hit is nice, interface as well, as i mentioned before.![]()
Yes we are planning to release a larger GUI for SynthMaster 2.8 if time permits, but first we'll have to figure out to do it right with SynthMaster One (Satya will be working on 150% and 200% images for us)
Agree. SM1 Prototype skin 150% on Macbook pro retina 1920x1200 is exactly the size of the screen. 130%-140% would make more sense. Again, for Macbook pro retina 1680x1050 130% is edge-to-edge. So as a mac user, 130% is the preferred scaling.exmatproton wrote:kv331 wrote:Sorry about my late response, it's hard to keep track of the message flownusound mind wrote:

?? 150% why? Most displays are 1080P anyway? Best size with this synth on a 1080p screen is 130%> The original size is a tad too small, 150% is a bit too big...if you ask me...
There is a distance knob, that also appears to need to be turned up in order to make the reverb sound bigger. Oh, and you need to increase Time knob and Dampening knob too.fluffy_little_something wrote:The reverb is strange. The size knob for instance seems to work the wrong way around. When I turn it up, the sound becomes "smaller".
Might be good to include alternative resolutions slightly smaller than the most common native monitor screen resolutions. 150/200 % means little to actual use, whereas being able to choose a resolution just smaller than the monitor's default size, allows accessing a gui in the background that is placed by an edge, for just such easy access.kv331 wrote:Sorry about my late response, it's hard to keep track of the message flownusound mind wrote:

It would seem you are not familiar with the ORIGINAL SM... now at version 2-8-7>>>SM_2-8-7egbert101 wrote:I'm going to assume that in Synthmaster Three, layers are confined to oscillators (and possibly filters), but FX and ARP will be global.
However, I'd hope there is some kind of way to get FX and ARP functions per layer. In LuSH-101, for example, it's truly multilayered, meaning that each layer uses a full synth engine, including FX (only one FX per layer) and ARP and even unison. They're all pushed into a single Mixer section with Delay and Reverb.
I am an old git.. I have to wear glasses to read... so much has been negative about the GUI...nusound mind wrote:kv331 (& others) thanks for info. Forgive me, don't mean to complain, the gui in 2.8 small enough that my mouse has trouble click and dragging b/c of the size so functionally it's finicky in that respect, thus my insistence.
SM1 on the other hand size wise is nicely in the goldie locks zone for me, & so far loving the sound it makes as well.
