I wanted to ask about "IK Multimedia T-RackS MAX Upgrade" in JRR, upgrade from what product? Tracks Deluxe \ Grand\ or from any of T-racks\or IK single plugin ? Sorry this info do not specified.
https://www.jrrshop.com/ik-multimedia-t ... ax-upgrade
It's an upgrade from any previously purchased product of a value of $99.99 or more. Also, I believe $99.99 refers to the normal selling price, not necessarily the price you paid. For example, we recently had the Master EQ 432 on sale for $49.99 and I believe it qualifies because its normal selling price is $124.99.

Anyone every bought this? Or its sister library Stigma? Any views?

Thanks, Num, saw that one and a (very) few others, but not really informative. The guy first shoots at Voices of the Ages and then a year later rekindles his love while reviewing Stigma.
Still hoping for a perspective from forum members having bought one or the other.

Some of the sound examples are quite good. I'm thinking about getting it.

You can't ponder too long about it if you want to save money, the deal ends rather quickly :wink:

It is made by Channel Robot, haven't heard too much about them earlier, I guess they must be from Hull or thereabouts, based on info

So it seems that 9.95 (or 9.99) is the new strategy to keep the GAS alive :)

Does anyone have tested KResearch KR-Fatter? Is it worthy?

The first generation Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 is only £89.99 delivered in the Focusrite Store Clearance section. Price including delivery to Europe is 124.99 euros. I ordered yesterday and received today. The item is brand new and comes with a two year warranty.

The new low-latency second generation Scarlett drivers can be used with the first generation Scarletts up to and including the 2i4, which is bus powered and has a proper Midi interface. At 24/96 I am getting a mixing latency of 1.3ms and an ASIO roundtrip latency of 8.3ms on my i5-6440HQ laptop. Of course, you don't get 192kHz but the cost is half the price of the second generation 2i4 and who uses 192kHz? Just make sure you do not install the first generation drivers but download and install the drivers for the second generation Scarlett 2i4. Don't select 192kHz or you crash the drivers.

You are also entitled to:
The current XLN Addictive Keys offer - I have just registered the Studio Grand - retail 89.99 euros;
This month's plugin collective  - D16 Syntorus - retail 39 euros;
Ableton Live Lite;
Scarlett Plugin Suite;
Novation Bass Station;
3GB Free Loopmasters Content;
Red Plugin Suite;
Softube Time and Tone bundle (requires iLok);
Focusrite Drum Tracks

plus the future plugin collective offers.

I'd say that's a pretty amazing deal for just less than £90 delivered.

It is also available in the Focusrite ebay shop.

Hope this helps somebody.

^ That might just be one of the most useful and informative posts I've ever seen in this Topic. Thank you, musical!
Gaslighting...is a form of mental abuse in which information is twisted or spun, selectively omitted to favor the abuser, or false information is presented with the intent of making victims doubt their own memory, perception, and sanity.

It's something new the distributor is doing. Keep supporting these sales and they'll keep feeding us these deals. :)

I was too slow on this one, too. For next time, though, does anyone know if you can easily import your own samples for use with the interface?

jsp1979 wrote:You get 73 patches at the start. Every time 5 people join, he'll add more patches to that total.

When 73 people join, everyone gets the full Fairlight Kontakt R2 package (which includes over 1400 patches).

At least that's how I read it.
That's how I understand it as well.

However, the whole library with roughly 1.400 patches costs 219$ undiscounted.

Now the group buy kicks off with 1/20th of the package content at 1/3rd of the package price -> 73 patches for 73$.

Other group buys usually start at a low discount that increases with the nunber of participants and the worst that can happen is that one buys the product at a relatively modest discount instead of the super discount we always hope for. Plus, quite a few group buys have the option to cancel one's participation if the result does not meet one's expectations.

While I reckon that Mr. Bitley will make the participants happy after all and a bit of tension... that's the first group buy that actually means taking the risk of paying way too much for what one gets. Weird.

Now if, as I reckon, too many people wait for others to join in order to make the package more attractive, that'll result in a sorry deadlock.

Or am I missing something here? :borg:
